Cosmopolitan

Bringing out the Carrie Bradshaw in everyone, this city standard is a strong little citrus number balanced with a touch of cranberry and an aromatic flame to garnish (to add a bit of drama!). If you want to 'man up' a little bit, this drink also tastes great on the rocks...

Wyborowa lemon vodka shaken with Cointreau, fresh lime juice and cranberry juice

  1. After seeing in the B@1 cocktail book that you appreciate feedback about your bar and the cocktails you serve I thought I would write to you My favourite cocktail is a Cosmopolitan, unfortunately I have tried the Cosmopolitan cocktails that the B@1 bars sell at both the Covent Garden B@1 and the Soho B@1 and they really aren't very nice.

They taste like they have far too much lime in them. I appreciate each establishment has their own twist on certain drinks, but I have drunk cosmopolitans at many venues and I have to say none are as bitter as the ones served at your bars. I would very much like to see the recipe re-worked as otherwise I wouldn't want to order it again at B@1.

The Cuban bar and restaurant in Camden has the best Cosmopolitan I have ever tasted, should you want to try theirs and compare.

Anyway, I hope you appreciate my feedback and I hope that I can get to enjoy my favourite cocktail at what is quickly becoming my favourite bar.
