Be At One is always on the lookout for new members to join the team.
We only offer Full Time positions (we are unable to take students). We only consider those applications of people who have visited B@1.
TRAINING
When you join our team, you are assigned your very own In Store Trainer who will train you one-on-one to be the one of the best bartenders in the world. Whether you have been in the industry for five days or five years, everyone who joins the company is trained in the same way - starting at the grass roots of bartending. This level of training means that enthusiasm and the right attitude are more important than previous experience and we can ensure that we have a consistently excellent level of bartending across all of our sites. This process takes roughly eight weeks, but if you feel like you can turn it up a notch, you can always become a great bartender that much quicker!
STAFF DEVELOPMENT
Our commitment to staff development through team meetings, quarterly reviews and one-on-one feedback creates opportunities and encourages upward mobility at all levels. Most members of the team stay for at least two years. In the past ten years eight of our employees have gone on to open their own bars.

Hi girls and guys! My name is Quentin and I'm from France. I have worked as a bartender in B@1 Hammersmith for almost a year now!
When I look back, it's amazing for me to realise how my life has changed! I finished my studies when I was 19 and thought it could be good for me to go to London. After spending a year working in a lounge bar/club I decided to improve my level of bartending which was ridiculous. From the first day, all the B@1 team welcomed me though my English wasn't fantastic and I didn't have many bartending skills. The first 3 months were very hard for me and I wouldn't have stayed if the atmosphere wasn't so great! Because B@1 is all about this, everyday customers have a good time because of the bartenders! What nice feedback to be surrounded with!
As a bartender, you make the party and meet lots of people who become real friends! From the owner to your colleague, you always push yourself to learn more and more: practicing flair, learning new cocktails, attending spirit testing, training new people and, like I'm learning now, management!
I would never have thought I could be what I am now and how brilliant it is to be a B@1 bartender! If you were looking for a job, come for a drink, see how you feel and just give it a go!"
