Straight-Up Daiquiri

The original daiquiri and a favourite of Hemingway. It’s simply Havana 7 Year Old rum, fresh lime and sugar balanced in a way that you get the most out of the rum. A must-have for anyone who has a fine appreciation for rum.

Ingredients

2oz Havana Club 7 Year Old

1/2oz sugar syrup

1/2 teaspoon white sugar

8 lime wedges

How to make a Straight-Up Daiquiri

  1. Chill a cocktail glass with crushed ice
  2. Add all ingredients to a Boston glass and shake with cubed ice
  3. Remove crushed ice and strain the mixture into the glass
